Mac & Cheese

Description

Creamy and delicious!

Ingredients

16-20oz macaroni, you can get away with 14.5, it just might be very cheesy!

1/2cup butter
1/2cup flour
4cups milk
16oz velveeta
1cup cheese, whatever you like. We use cheddar

Salt and pepper to taste.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350*

Cook macaroni according to package

In a large saucepan melt butter on medium high heat. Add flour to make a roux. Slowly add milk and whisk together keeping the lumps out. (sometimes I just pour all the milk in once I get rid of the lumps and just whisk it while it thickens. Add velveeta till it melts. Add some salt and pepper to taste.

Combine cheese and macaroni in a pan and then transfer to a greased 13X9 pan. Cover (or don't) put in oven for 20-25 minutes, or till it is bubbling. Then add cheese to the top and bake another 5 minutes.
