Chewy Granola

Ingredients

1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Honey
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
3 Tbs Water
1/2 tsp salt
3 cups Oats
1/4 cup Flax seed
1 cup nuts
1 cup toasted coconut
2 cups rice crispy cereal
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup raisins, craisins or other dried fruit

Directions

Bake the oats, nuts, and coconut (if not toasted) on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes at 350. Mix every 5 minutes so nothing burns, once things are getting toasted you can remove to cool. Lower the oven to 325.

Whisk sugar, honey, vegetable oil, vanilla, water, and salt until combined. Pour in oat mixture, flax seed and mix. Once mixed then add the rice crispy cereal, dried fruit, and continue to mix until everything is evenly coated.

Bake at 325 for 20-25 minutes.
